I didn’t talk around it.

I am sorry but you cannot “strengthen and heal your party” if you do not support your party’s candidate for a run for President. Simple as that. The rest is just demagogy. Again I apologize for that term but that’s what it is.

It’s like saying I must strengthen my body but I will not do any physical exercise, I will read about it, study it, make sure that I build my team thinking how to make things better, blah-blah-blah…
Or it’s like saying I want to heal my mind but I refuse to read books…
I think the analogy is clear.

Do not trick yourself: you cannot strengthen or heal the party if you do not support it’s candidate in the Presidential Elections. Period. 2+2=4. Not 5.

As for the Trump’s “majority” or “plurality” (based on that one research and again… this play with the definitions is a bit demagogic) of supporters - it doesn’t change a thing!

Even following that subjective research:

  • 42% for 1 candidate (Trump)
  • 58% for 17 other candidates, i.e. 3% per candidate as average.

42% vs. 3% … So who is marginalized here? Let’s get real.
