Pokémon GO! — Legendary Birds & Unown Event Concept
Its time to find Moltres, Articuno, and Zapdos + More Generation 2 Concepts
Pokémon GO’s current events are repetitive and getting old…
I decided to create another concept, just to show how much potential there is to this game and I urge Trainers to continue to support Niantic in hopes that there are exciting things to come! Well, here’s my concept, I hope you enjoy it!
The Legendary Bird Event!
In Pokémon GO, the legendary birds (Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos) are the symbols of the three teams (Mystic, Valor, and Instinct). In this event, you will be able to capture all three as long as you complete the tasks.
It beings with Trainers receiving a notification and message from Professor Willow. He goes on to state that their have been sightings of these mystical creatures recently and it will only show themselves to special Trainers. In this event, Trainers will have to catch 10 Pokémon with specific moves. I decided to choose the most powerful moves of each type of Pokémon (Ice – Blizzard, Fire – Fire Blast, Electric – Thunder). Every time a Pokémon with the specific move is caught, you will be notified. Once 10 are captured, depending on the type, thelegendary Pokémon will appear.
Once the Pokémon spawns, Trainers will have 10 minutes to capture the Pokémon, once the timer is up the Pokémon will flee. Good luckcatching these legendary birds!
The Unown Event!
Unowns are part of the Generation 2 Pokémon. They were first discovered in the Johto Region.
There are actually 28 different variations of Unowns in the Pokémon world and Professor Willow needs your help catching all the different types for his research. He will add a special Unown report in your Pokédex. Those who have played the Pokémon games will know what I am referring to.
Once all 28 types of Unown are caught, you will be required to send the infomation to Professor Willow. While conducting the research, Willow will find out that the Unowns have a special ability in summoning a legendary Pokémon.
Entei is a legendary Pokémon or some may say a“Legendary Dog”. There are special ties between the Unowns and Entei (here I am referring to the movie). Once summoned, Trainers will have the opportunity to catch Entei. Similar to my previous concepts, Trainers will have a certain amount of time before they flee. Good luck!
