Call of Duty RosterMania (COD Champs Edition)
I compiled this list the minute after rosters locked (3:00 AM EST) for the Champs Online Qualifier. I only included teams who had at least one player who placed within the Top 24 this past weekend at Orlando as it seems to be a strong benchmark to base current player and team skill levels off of.
Notable Players:
Only two players who placed within the Top 24 at Orlando did not find their way onto a team for the Champs Online Qualifier (Quality and Miyagi).
Apotheon eSports: Arcitys, Matt, Mayhem, and Prestinni
After placing 9th — 12th at MLG Orlando, Apotheon eSports have dropped Destiny and replaced him with Mayhem. Their final roster now stands as Arcitys, Matt, Mayhem, and Prestinni.
Allegiance: Mochila, Remy, Royalty, and Xotic
After placing 13th — 16th at MLG Orlando, Team Allegiance decided to not make any roster changes heading into the Champs Online Qualifier and will remain with the roster of Mochila, Remy, Royalty, and Xotic.
Cloud9: Aches, Assault, Ricky, and Lacefield
Aches, Ricky, and Lacefield have come over to Cloud 9 after playing for complexity at MLG Orlando (finishing 7th/8th) — the switch is rumored to have been made so that they can team up with Assault who has contractual obligations to Cloud 9.
COD Champs OQ (Ex-Most Wanted): Beehzy, Hate, Juju, and Spoofs
Choosing to not play under the Most Wanted banner; Beehzy, Hate, Juju, and Spoofs’ roster has remained intact after placing 13th — 16th at MLG Orlando.
Complexity: Havok, Llama, Parasite, and Swarley
After the Cloud 9 roster from MLG Orlando finished 7th/8th it seems that they decided to part ways; this begun with Assault choosing to team with Aches, Ricky and Lacefield under the Cloud 9 banner. It seems that Silly has moved over ‘Next Threat’ to team with Burnsoff, Censor, and Maux while Havok and Swarley have stuck together picking up Parasite and Llama who played on Kingsmen Global at Orlando, finishing 17th — 20th.
Corn (Ex-Most Wanted + Ex-Lethal): Blfire, Methodz, TCM, and Twizz
Corn is the first of our many pickup teams playing in the online qualifier. The first two members being Methodz and Blfire who competed with Most Wanted at MLG Orlando, finishing 21st — 24th. They are joined by TCM and Twizz who also finished 21st — 24th at Orlando while playing under Lethal Gaming
Echo Fox: Cyborg, Neslo, Proofy, and Sinful
After a disappointing placement 37th — 44th placement at MLG Orlando; Cyborg, Neslo, Proofy, and Sinful have chosen to stick together and see if all of their practice has paid off going into the Champs Qualifier.
eLevate: Aqua, Faccento, Felony, and Nagafen
No surprise here, we have no roster changes from the 3rd place finishers at MLG Orlando. The eLevate roster of Aqua, Faccento, Felony, and Nagafen are sticking together.
H2K: Fears, Legal, Mirx, and Phizzurp
After a 17th — 20th place finish at MLG Orlando, the core three of H2K will be sticking together (Fears, Legal, and Phizzurp) but they’ll be replacing Dedo with Mirx who also finished 17th — 20th at Orlando with Kingsmen Global.
Livin The Dream (ex-TSM/ex-eUnited): Accuracy, Ivy, Pacman, and Whea7s
After a 17th — 20th placing at MLG Orlando, the core three of Ivy, Pacman and Whea7s seem to be sticking together but have chosen to replace their fourth. This time choosing to replace Burnsoff with Accuracy who had a strong showing at Orlando, finishing 7th/8th with Complexity.
Meme Team: Danglez, Examples, Reppin, and Saintt
While we didn’t see Danglez, Reppin, and Saintt make any noise at MLG Orlando this roster has former 100 Thieves player Examples on board who was playing with Most Wanted at Orlando, finishing 21st — 24th.
NextThreat: Burns, Censor, Maux, and Silly
Another pickup team to add to the list, we have Burns, Censor, Maux and Silly teaming up to see what they can do in the online qualifier. Rumored to be under Censor’s “new organization” which he rumored about in past tweets. Silly seems to be the x-factor for this team of players who all had disappointing placements at Orlando.
Orgless: Foncho, Silpy, Storied, and Tisch
After placing 13th — 16th at MLG Orlando under 1N InControl, Foncho, Silpy, Storied, and Tisch’s roster decided to not make any roster changes heading into the Champs Online Qualifier but will not be palying under 1N InControl.
OQ (Ex-BitterSweet): Buck, Copier, Dedo, and Hippi
The new team that seems to be making a lot of noise consisted of Buck, Copier, Hippi, and Quality at MLG Orlando. After Quality failed to have a quality performance the trio of Buck, Copier, and Hippi have opted to drop him in exchange for Dedo who will look to bring some experience to this strong team of amateurs who finished 13th — 16th at Orlando.
Pnda Gaming: Nelson, Fastballa, Priestah, and Tuquick
After placing 13th — 16th at MLG Orlando, Pnda Gaming decided to not make any roster changes heading into the Champs Online Qualifier and will remain with the roster of Nelson, Fastballa, Preistah, and Tuquick.
SetToDestroyX: Believe, HumanJesus, Nova, and Infamous
After placing 13th — 16th at MLG Orlando, SetToDestroyX decided to not make any roster changes heading into the Champs Online Qualifier and will remain with the roster of Believe, HumanJesus, Nova, and Infamous.
Team Kaliber: Colechan, Goonjar, Happy, and Theory
After placing 9th — 12th at MLG Orlando, Team Kaliber decided to not make any roster changes heading into the Champs Online Qualifier and will remain with the roster of Colechan, Goonjar, Happy, and Theory.
VexX Gaming: Demented, Moti, Nihill, and Prophet
After placing 21st — 24th at MLG Orlando, VeXx Gaming decided to not make any roster changes heading into the Champs Online Qualifier and will remain with the roster of Demented, Moti, Nihill, and Prophet
100Ls: Destiny, Johnny, GodRx, and Pandur
Another fairly strong pickup team going into the online qualifier that consists of Destiny who placed 9th — 12th at MLG Orlando with AES and was replaced with Mayhem. Johnny who finished 21st — 24th with Lethal Gaming, GodRx who has not competed at a live event in this game due to age restrictions and Pandur who recently finished 29th — 36th at Orlando.
