Why no one should be called a UX Designer
Varun Mohapatra

Your second point hits on an important implication for teams: designating someone as “the UX Designer” implies that others do not have that responsibility. I think, for example, of the legal review on my team. I don’t read contracts or negotiations with a legal/regulatory eye, because I know we have a dedicated person with that responsibility. The same logic flows for UX: if it’s a universal responsibility, no one person should be “titled” with it explicitly.
