XTRD.io Community Update — 3/23
As the XTRD token presale approaches the final 3/31 date, I’m reminded of the old adage that it’s a marathon, not a sprint. Well, not in crypto — sprinting all the way in these last few weeks. The update you’ve been waiting for: since the inception of the XTRD raise in February, we have collected over $26m USD from our $45m hard cap!
So what’s happening with XTRD now?
Strategic Partnership
We’ve signed our agreement with CME Group, world’s leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, handling 3 billion contracts worth approximately $1 quadrillion annually. This release is coming shortly following their approval!
Technology
Exchanges: We’ve added several exchanges to our initial product, the universal FIX API — Bitstamp, HitBTC, Korbit, in addition to GDAX, Gemini, and Bitfinex.
Strategic Integration: We’ve begun to integrate CME Futures data into our SPA rebalancing algorithm to allocate funds across exchanges — will allow us to estimate immediate market direction to minimize counterparty execution risk, predict incoming order flow demand towards particular assets and allocate accordingly, and utilize some cool machine learning concepts while leveraging a correlated historical set of futures vs spot data for CME Bitcoin futures.
Raise
Public presale concludes in 8 days — March 31st. Currently, the XTRD bonus structure is as follows:
10% for < 100 ETH
25% for > 100 ETH
TGE forthcoming in April.
Roadshow
Non-Stop Travel: I’m currently traveling all over the world meeting presale participants, traders, and connecting to exchanges for partnerships. We started off in NYC presenting at the Yale Club for an exclusive private equity and VC forum, then headed out to LA, hosting private events for XTRD, as well as community events at a private residence in the Hollywood Hills and meeting with funds, clients, and new participants in our trading network. Also had to stop by In-N-Out Burger!
After, I flew to Buenos Aires, Argentina to present at the Blockchain Summit hosted by Lydia Capital, alongside RSK, Superbloom, AlphaPoint, and many other awesome people in the space. Concurrently, Michele Guo from the XTRD team attended Token 2049 in HK, connecting with crypto evangelists, institutional traders, market makers, exchanges, and others. More strategic partnerships to come!
Now, on to Beijing — meetings with exchange partners as well as more institutional traders, crypto funds, and VCs to spread the word. Week after next, on to Deconomy in Seoul — Vitalik Buterin will be speaking, along with major attendees such Roger Ver and numerous Korean exchanges, which we are engaging with closely.
