Here’s your point-of-view shift for the day:

When you read of massive climate impacts in 2080, remember today’s babies won’t yet have hit retirement age then.

We need to be thinking in decades and centuries now, to think clearly and act responsibly.

Paradoxically, that means in part that we need to act with unprecedented boldness at rapid speeds. The farther ahead we think, the more urgent the demands of this present day become.
