Okay I’m Bill Simmons and want to launch a website. Do I:

A) Feature content that is political hackery/propaganda supporting one of our two large parties. Or,

B) Dispense with that nonsense in awareness that large numbers of people find this nonsense to be utterly disgusting and soul-draining; turning to sites ostensibly about sports and entertainment so as to avoid the grindingly depressing and puerile “Team Red/Team Blue” nonsense.

Option B would seem to broaden one’s theoretical market share and advertising base I would think.

Thus, if making money is in any way part of the equation, perhaps dump “partisan hack Favreau” and give us instead “350 pound Favreau.” Him I would be interested in reading.
