Making the best of your time in lockdown
The world as we know it is standing still and is in chaos at the same time. Most countries imposed a lockdown on the citizens in order to slow down the spread of COVID-19, forcing most people to stay in their homes. We can all feel the collective uncertainty, panic, and confusion some people are experiencing and are looking for a sense of normality in those crazy times.
For online entrepreneurs, like myself, who are used to having to structure their days in their home office and scheduling times for self-care and exercise, not much is changing. But I see that a lot of people are overwhelmed with the new situation, both logistically as well as emotionally.
Gyms have shut down, and social contacts are limited which takes a toll on people's emotions, let alone the fear some people have due to a (potential) job loss, uncertainty, the virus itself, and feeling disconnected alone at home or simply bored.
Good news: There is support.
First of all, there is the internet that gives us the ability to learn new skills, and connect to the outside world and secondly, there are many great people who offer support to others during these times: Yoga teachers, mental health coaches, fitness instructors, therapists and lightworkers who are moving their services online, with platforms such as zoom, Facebook Live Video, and Instagram, to name a few. I think it was never more bearable to have a crisis than in the digital age, and it is a great way to realize the benefit of it.

I compiled a list of free, donation-based and paid resources of trusted sources that will help you include mental and physical health practices into your daily life in Quarantine and learn more about specific practices. What better time to try out something new, right?
Now, more than ever, it is important to keep your mind sane and body healthy and at the same time, it gives you the opportunity to connect with others and realize that we are all in this together. ❤
