I would be more tolerant if the “data loving fast talkers” actually used their data. My biggest complaint is when they pull my name off LinkedIn but have no idea what my company does. Or when programmatic advertising is showing me ads that are irrelevant to me. Or when I mysteriously begin receiving email newsletters from your company.
If you’re going to crawl all of my personal data and track my browsing habits, use it to add value to my decisions. Otherwise, I’ll use ad blocker and reject browser cookies. I’m going to opt out of giving you data if you don’t know how to use it.
