That’s because you’re trying to see data as output, and it’s not. Data is meant to be input to improve your outputs, but not the source of it. (This is not entirely accurate, but I think you get what I mean)
You sure do get a lot of information on users feelings/emotions if you do good research, the only thing that may cause you difficulties is that you won’t get it for granted. Users will not just tell you how they feel; they will express it, and it’s your job to understand them, see their mind through their actions.
But again, you can’t just gather data and expect it to give you the answers you’re looking for without studying and understanding it.
You must collect, study, validate and improve.
