This month, AlgoDAO made incredible strides toward becoming a tokenized launchpad and incubator in an entirely decentralized setting. Our team is working tirelessly on the Algorand Ecosystem growth!
We’ve hosted IDOs, conducted biweekly AMAs, and provided an opportunity for anybody who wants to become a DAO Contributor.
DAO Contributor Path
Becoming Algorand’s ultimate growth engine requires a massive effort from everyone on the Algofam. For this reason, AlgoDAO reorganized its structure in November, recruiting the most engaged team and community members on the journey to a fully-fledged DAO.
First, we introduced the Core Contributors Board, which includes Joe, Dory, Anthony, and Max. On the other hand, we presented the Junior Contributors Board, featuring ambassadors and individuals who contributed every day to the best of their knowledge and experience.
We are happy to encourage anybody who wishes to join by submitting an application to the DAO Applications Discord channel. Stay tuned for additional information on the DAO setup!
Project Token Launches
AlgoDAO is Algorand’s community-driven ultimate incubator and primary market. It is a platform where high-quality projects may be incubated, tokenized, accelerated, and submitted for funding.
On our mission to the Algorand ecosystem integration, we help early-stage projects on their journey by increasing their social media presence participating in AMAs or contests, doing strict due diligence, and hosting their token’s IDOs, among other stuff.
We got the opportunity to launch two tokens, $BRIGHT and $ALCE, this month. Unfortunately, one of them had to be postponed due to market conditions. Let’s go over both projects in depth below:
Brightside IDO: we hosted IDO from a great project with a $BRIGHT future ahead. BrightSide Finance is a Decentralized Exchange (DEX) built on the Milkomeda A1 Layer 2 rollup for Algorand.
$BRIGHT is a utility token that gives holders full access to the BrightSide ecosystem. It has built-in incentives for long-term value growth and integrates you into the DAO governance.

AlgoCellar IDO (Postponed): AlgoCellar is a platform for asset management that allows users to create, mint, and manage tokenized funds. The project is built specifically for the community, and it’s the first product of its kind to launch on the Algorand ecosystem with a supporting token that was going to launch this month.

Since market conditions made our hyperspace journey unviable, $ALCE IDO was postponed. New coordinates and launch dates are being planned and will be communicated soon.

Biweekly AMA Series
We were thrilled to present Transmission from the Fleet: a biweekly AMA Series!
The AMA series will include interviews with notable projects and Algorand community members, as well as coverage of AlgoDAO’s current and future initiatives. The community is also welcome to ask questions about the project, which will be warmly answered during the sessions.
