As the year went by the briefs got more and more challenging. With deadlines coming up fast managing your time was key! Being able to get the work done so that you were prepared for the deadline was everyones problem. Deadlines, seemed to be every students kryptonite. Nobody did their work on time so in the last couple days everyone was up in the studios, computer rooms trying to finish off. With so many students and only so much facilities it only meant one thing, there were going to be some really late hand-ins or even some tears for those who didn't mange the deadline. I myself found it very difficult to manage my time. With work outside of uni and the big load of work for each project, it always managed to drag me under. 1 or 2 weeks before hand in, that was when reality always hit me and i started to do work hence why I didn't do too well in the first year. However, I can take some good away from this and that is, I now know the importance of managing time and that I need to be prioritising my uni work before everything else to make sure i get the best grade possible.

For this project I had to design my own font, then using my own font I had to write a pangram which uses each letter of the alphabet to demonstrate the readability and legibility of my font design. I found this particular project challenging because I wanted to be innovative. I think i made it more difficult and longer for myself was the fact that I hand drew each letter then scanning it on to computer and going over it all again, making the process all too long.

I really enjoyed this brief because I believe that my computer design skills are strong. I believe that my concepts and ideas are very strong hence why my final designs are always very professional.

I enjoyed writing this essay because I found it challenging. I believe I understood what was asked of me to write hence why I enjoyed writing the essay. I liked expressing my feelings and ideas behind the question.
