Tell me how it feels to age
Recently I’ve been really feeling the need for a new Friday side project. I wanted something that would give me the feeling of being Friday creative and still help me learn more about what it means to age. For the past couple of weeks I’ve been in a sea of ideas, struggling to decide on one project to choose. Ideas it seems, for me — are endless (my ability to action things — slightly harder)! I knew I wanted to focus on a project around Ageing and Creativity, so finally it is here — yes — choice happened, and I’m excited to share it with you.

The Legacy Project
The Legacy Project will be a photographic exhibition. An exploration into what it means to age and face the end of our lives. Images and stories will be pulled together for a unique exhibition.
I want to learn from lessons from older people, and use those insights as an opportunity to understand how it feels to age and face death, and I want other people to experience the same through the instillation itself.
Every week — I’ll be lurking around London, looking for good opportunities to run into strangers, and to ask 2 questions on ageing and end of life.
After capturing their stories and ideas, I’ll capture them in a technicolour photograph. I’ll be putting together a series from inspiring older people into an exhibition. So keep your eye’s peeled for tweets from strangers, and news for The Legacy Project, which I’m planning to exhibit in about 6 months time.
If you’d like to be involved in any way, drop me a comment!
