There’s a lot of stuff online about emerging tech. Bloggers earn their living by being the first to report the latest. Others spend their whole days in theorizing on what’s coming next. What we’ve found missing in all this is a lack of focus and a lack of hands on experience on Voice. Yes, voice. We believe the sounds that you croak out when talking to someone is the next big thing in technology. As big as the iPhone was in 2007 with its touchscreen and its amazing browser. Why as big? Since using your voice is natural, convenient and gets most jobs done. Today we type specific google queries or navigate a multitude of apps to find the simple answer to “What movies are playing tonight”. A world where voice control is accurate, pervasive and personal means you no longer have to pull out your phone as much as you do today. We’ll be digging into this more deeply in future posts to convince the naysayers out there.

So .. why should you follow us and keep reading? Because we’re actually building stuff on top of Alexa, Microsoft Cognitive Services, Houndify and more. So as we learn, we’ll share and it’ll hopefully start discussions that helps us all grow
