First off, what is All Star Freaks?
All Star Freaks is a popular NFT collection immortalizing iconic athletes and personalities in new Freak-themes formats on digital NFT “cards”. You can check out the entire collection on OpenSea.
What is being auctioned? The winning bid will receive:
- The super rare Freaks NFT, Nique (#177-FB) FreakBall Edition. This card is a special tribute to NBA Legend Dominique Wilkins and includes several extremely unique Freaks traits.
- Two courtside seats to an Atlanta Hawks home game during the 2022 Season.
- A meet and greet with NBA Legend, Dominique Wilkins!
What charity is this benefitting?
We are auctioning this special NFT and prize package to benefit Dominique’s KultureCity organization. KultureCity is a nonprofit focused on sensory accessibility and acceptance for those with invisible disabilities. 100% of proceeds from the auction will be donated to KultureCity on behalf of the All Star Freaks community.

A 3-Day Freaky Auction
The auction starts Friday February 17th, and ends Sunday February 20th at 7PM ET. All bidding will take place on OpenSea.
More About this Special NFT
All Star Freaks cards are hand-designed, 1 of 1 pieces of digital art. The collection launched in March 2020 and includes over 650 pieces of unique sports and culture-themed NFTs. The project has generated over $1MM USD in sales volume.
This particular card combines the collection’s original Nique #177 card and a FreakBall — a sister NFT collection of freakified basketballs—to produce a special “FreakBall Edition” card.
How did this come about?
Dominique noticed his FreakBall Edition card on Twitter and the idea of a special charity auction was born!

Been living under a rock and don’t know much about Dominique Wilkins?
One of the most exciting players of his generation, Dominique Wilkins was nicknamed “The Human Highlight Film” for his tendency to create made-for-TV moments with his jaw-dropping dunks and finishes at the rim. In the 1980s and ’90s, he elevated the Atlanta Hawks to a playoff team and contender in the Eastern Conference.
The all-time leading scorer in Hawks history with 23,292 points, Wilkins — when he retired — ranked ninth on the all-time NBA scoring list (24,019 career points).
“Nique” amassed one of the greatest careers over 16 seasons: a 9x All Star, 7x All NBA selection, 1x Scoring Champion, and member of the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team!
