Do you know what “being in a Union” takes ?

Obviously you have zero respect for the Unions. Or the people in them.

You are a great example of the attitude that is killing our country and going to send us into a crash and depression bigger and longer than 1929,

To join a Union, first you have to apply. This process takes anywhere from a year to usually two years. They do back ground checks, look at your school performance, check references etc.

They pick the best guys to apprentice. This apprenticeship takes another two to four years depending on what kind of union you are going in.

It’s basically like a college degree. You work just as hard, just as long and really have to compete and face some stiff competition just to get into the trade unions. Stay in the apprenticeship program and eventually join the union.

I can’t believe that you would take a mans hard work, his life , and throw it into that basket.

No, you’re so wrong if you believe that the people need to throw their life’s work and dedication away rather than ask their companies to meet their needs.

Do you have ANY idea how much money Verizon makes? Any idea?

Do you have any idea that the CEO makes 300xs the amount of the highest paid employee?

They can pay more. They can give better benefits.

They just don’t want to. And it’s Americans like you that fuck it all up for the rest of us. Your entire belief system and disregard of people’s work and time and effort and life , and really believing that companies should treat us like slaves instead of people.

It’s probably just taught to you as you were growing up by parents that you loved but that are ignorant and think that if you work hard enough you will make it.

Yeah. Tell that to the Nurses that work 12 hours on their feet.

Every industry is doing this. Every single one.

I’m a Nurse and I’ve watched new Nurses out of 4 year college struggle for years to get a job and then get paid $10 less an hour than I did when I first started working ten years ago with an AA.

Working hard has nothing to do with it. Going to a different job has nothing to do with it. Getting different work won’t help.

It’s about greed and wealth hoarding.

We have a system that made it legal.

They have passed laws that make it legal to pay off congress and senate to vote yes or no, to actually introduce bills that these wealthy people and corporations write; Tailor made laws to ensure that they maximize their prophet at the cost of us.

Our min wage was higher in 1969. Do you know that? Meanwhile every single other industry inflation has steadily risen. Housing? 600% increase since min wage started.

30% of this country makes close to min wage.

30%.

We are one the wealthiest countries in the world and we don’t even crack the top ten best countries to work or live in or get sick in. That’s sad.

Sure you can convince yourself that if you support these rich assholes that maybe one day they will make you rich by proxy, or maybe you willingly stick your head in the sand because you don’t want to know how fucked up its getting.

But it isn’t going away.

It’s just getting worse. And worse. People like you, are making sure it stays that way.

No offense. I just want you to open your eyes. Get educated, to ask a man, a husband a father who is supporting a family, to “find another job or get into another industry”

Yeah? So how is he gonna feed his family in the meantime? Who is gonna pay for school? Who is gonna watch the kids? Who is gonna make the mortgage payment while he takes a 50% reduction in income?

Come on. Those kids need clothes and food and cars and college and all sorts of things.

His monthly bills probably are more than what he could gross if he switched industries now at the bottom. Why? Because every industry is replacing their higher paid workers for part time and the lowest possible wages they can pay a person without going to jail.

It’s fantasy land you’re in. Totally. You probably don’t have kids or support a family, or even have a career to talk about it so foolishly. But seriously, think about it . We need all the support we can get from each other . It’s so fucking defeating when I see talk like this. Because now, more than ever, we need to ban together and fight for each other. Against these greedy pricks.
