The CEO isn’t there to take care of his employees .

No. That’s ancient history. The CEO is there to maximize stock profits for his shareholders. The shareholders are the CEOs employees.

This is modern America. Where the worker is meaningless. Where the people that don’t crack over a mil a year , don’t mean shit to anyone.

The share holder is the employee now , with the benefits that the employee used to have.

This is the new America that doesn’t give a shit about it’s middle class, about the people that keep the company going. About the people that work the hardest.

This is America. Where it’s expected that you have no life and no pay, and work shit jobs on holidays with no benefits to finally be able to pay your bills in your 40s.

I’m so sorry.

I’m so sorry that right now half the country is voting for more of the same.

I’m so sorry that half the country not only bought the con job , but defends this piece of shit corrupted system in America.

They’ve never traveled. They’ve never seen that in other countries people actually live good lives. And get 1 to 5 years paid time off for maternity leave. That get government vouchers for housing , so everyone gets a house they fit in and pays a third of their rent.

They’ve never seen people work 4 day work weeks. They’ve never seen people get a month of paid vacation that just started.

You see , in the late 70s, America changed.

That’s when we started passing laws that turned this country into a shit hole. That’s when money started running the country.

That’s when they started to disable unions, barter with pension and benefit funds, lower wages and sell the company off piece by piece. That’s when they stopped caring about you and me and our children and husbands and wives . That’s when we became less than human. That’s when it became the new norm for America to be the worst place to work and retire, ( out of the world. We rank the lowest out of all industrialized countries)

This problem you have and so many other Americans have , with their work place, this goes all the way to the White House, to Wall Street.

To congress and senate and more specifically the lobbyists who pay them to make laws that benefit the asshole who runs YELP. And keep fucking you and I over forever.

We need a revolution. We are not gonna change anything without ending citizens united. We are not going to change anything without pulling the root out.. We need serious change. We need to do what every other society has done through out history when the income gap got too big.

Revolt.

Elect Bernie Sanders.

The problem is , is that the wealthy have actually convinced the middle class and the poor that it’s better this way. How else do you get people to vote for making banks have no cap to the interest charges they can charge? Or no cap on the late payment charge they can charge us.

Or how do you get people to quit unions ? Probably the only thing that’s ever been out friend.

How do you get people to give up getting paid overtime till they’ve worked 5 hours overtime ( NY)?

It’s a mystery.

But they do it. With a shit load of money, and great PR managers and before long we got the average Joe defending policies that will make his life suck and a his job a whole lot more miserable.

Just like Talia Jane getting flooded with responses from people who were proud of having to live with their parents and work three jobs and overnights and holidays and not see their kids or families and do that for a decade and then, well into your 30s, you might be able to afford your life.

People actually defend this shit.

Obviously they have never traveled.

They have no idea we are the only country in the world that doesn’t pay for healthcare. Or that we have the lowest maternity leave . The lowest min wage. The worst time off/ sick time policies. That we are the worst place to retire or get sick. The highest crime. The highest rates of drug addiction. Mental illness. Obesity. Ignorance. Highest prices to live. Longest work weeks. Least pay.

America basically sucks now.

And we are at the bottom of every list.

And people think that’s ok.

I don’t know if change will be easy. It might have to get downright traumatic before anything happens or people start to learn. But you’re not alone. We are right there with you and just as outraged.
