No… it’s really easy to understand .. it’s just that most people don’t realize they have to study Islam to get it.

When I was young I used to argue with people about the Bible. I had a realization while talking to one of the good Christians that I really had no idea what I was talking about. I was just repeating words that I had heard that made the most sense to me. I didn’t have any real knowledge of the Bible or Jesus. At all. I had no idea If any of the things I said were even true.

I was making the most common mistake I see Americans continue to make ..

Everyone has an opinion about Islam, but how many people really know anything about it? How many of those people have read the Quran or the Hadith? Have studied Islamic law?

I read the Bible front to back. I also read the Quran and the Hadith and studied Islamic law.

Now , no one can lie to me. When there is a press conference right after a terror attack and they get an imam to stand up and tell everyone that Islam doesn’t prosecute gays , I know they’re lying to us.

When Rezla Azlan goes on Bill Maher and tells the nation that Islam outlawed slavery and doesn’t have anything to do with FGM, I know he is lying.

That is probably the most awe inspiring thing about Islam.

Everyone is lying about it. Less than half of those people intentionally.

Personally I think its strategic. I think telling the truth about Islam would freak everyone out , and cause a huge back lash and I think the government of Obama ( I loved him) really tried to keep a lid on it. Tried to keep the hatred and fear down. Which I can appreciate and I think any compassionate human being can. But I also can’t deny the lies that are told about Islam are blatant.

I do not believe that Islam hates us because of anything that has happened in the past except the Israel thing.

But how many people even know really anything about that issue either? Most people reading this article right now probably believe that Israel invaded Palestine and declared war on the Muslims and took or stole their land from them. They have not the slightest clue that the UN voted on giving that land back to the Jews and that everyone pretty much said yes except the Arab nations and that the land they were originally awarded was a tiny slice of land , the Arabs would have still owned the majority of it.

They also don’t know that three days after that land was given back to the Jews , the Arab nations issued a statement and declared that they would rather die than give any amount of land to any Jew women child or man. Or that six months after that the Arab nations declared war on the Jews and the Jews totally outnumbered went to war with three different nations and kicked their ass. Or how since then, Israel has seen the most terrorist attacks out of anyone .. suicide bombers blowing up whole buses full of innocent people was normal, for a while. Israel was forced to go militant after years and years of attacks.

People judge Israel, but really , look at what we did after our first real terrorist attack? We went to war. For ten years.

And you judge Israel? Really?

So learning about Islam, means learning about several issues to really have a full picture of Islam too.

Islam hates America.

They resent us not just over our support of Israel, but because our culture — all of western culture — is a threat to the control and lifestyle of Islam.

Everything about Islam, is against our most sacred values. At least what we like to think of as our most sacred values. Like freedom. Equality. Free speech. Critical thinking. Right to question authority. Rock and Roll.

I mean our values completely eradicate Islam.

Just by themselves.

And the thing with Islam that western people don’t realize is that muhammed is thought of as the highest moral example of man, to Muslims . He is also perfect- meaning if he is found to have lied, or been wrong about anything , even one thing, than he is a false prophet . Then everything is a lie. Then it’s all bullshit — this is the absolutism of Islam. There is no middle ground. Thats why the term “moderate Muslim” is an oxymoron. It doesn’t exist in Islam ( even though it does) muhammed created the laws to ensure the absolutism of Islam. To ensure that Islam would never change , and never be hurt or weak in any way.

The laws , sharia , are about protecting Islam. The laws cover everything about society, from what to eat, to what to say, to what to wear and even how long your pants should be.

In sharia , apostates are executed. If you leave Islam, you’re committing a crime and will be put to death.

If you have sex with anyone besides your spouse , you will be executed including women that have been raped.

If you have sex before you’re married you will be imprisoned. After your publicly whipped.

You get the picture , right?

Anyone who insults Islam is executed. Anyone who insults , and or questions the prophet is to be executed. Anyone who changes the Quran or Hadith, anyone who says it says something it doesn’t , attempts to change or remove any part , all of these earn you an execution..

So here comes western culture , and America is the leader of western culture ( unfortunately and I think actually this is changing now. Everyone has caught up to us and most western countries are actually doing better than us at this point and everyone knows it except America ironically ) and we say- women are equal. Women deserve this and that. Domestic violence is wrong, it’s a crime. Having sex with kids is a crime. Slavery is a crime. Killing people for all of the things you’re killing them for is wrong. Sex is awesome and we’re having it all the time. Women are people with as many rights as men. They are free to do as they please. You can be any religion and question it too. You can say anything you want here.

Muhammed gave specific instructions on how to beat your wife . He also made it law that a man can’t even be questioned about why he beat his wife , let alone be arrested.

What about gays? Here comes western culture that says gays can get married and trans people have the rights and get operations , use bathrooms . In Islam, gays and trans people specifically are to be executed and there isn’t much that is worse than that.

What about drinking and dancing ? Music? All of it banned in Islam. So much of our culture is drinking and music.

What about child support ? Child custody ? In Islam a woman cant even ask for a divorce ! But a man can divorce his wife and guess what? She gets nothing. No property. No alimony. No children, unless they are nursing , and then they go back to dad. He gets everything — the only thing the woman gets is a one time payment that they both agreed to on the day they were married.

What about child brides? Muhammed married his favorite wife when she was 6, and he was 50. Islamic countries cant make this illegal without implicating muhammed . He would be wrong if they made that a crime. Then Islam is wrong.

Getting the picture ? So for devout Muslims , western culture is infecting the world really. People are “converting” to our way of seeing things. People are adopting our value system. People are wanting what we have .. and what we have makes Islam obsolete. What we believe in, means that muhammed was a false prophet . If you believe in what we believe in, then you don’t believe in Islam.

And that is why they hate us.

The whole Israel thing … they believe that Palestine is occupied and we supported that occupation and that is probably their biggest foreign diplomacy beef. They could give a shit less about oil.

We also are their largest threat. So we are the only ones they can’t beat. When America comes to the table , it’s a different game. There really isn’t anyone else to worry about. Is there?

They can’t come to America and out populate us like they will do to Europe. They can’t fight us. They cant touch us.

And yet we persist… converting more and more people and this is why they focus on and hate us the most.

Almost every article I have read having anything to do with Islam , needs to be re — written after the author has read the Quran and Hadith.

That is how much of a difference it would make.

The difference is especially stark because Islam is unlike any other religion in the world.. trying to take what the average America knows about religion and applying it to Islam is like trying to take what you know about swimming and applying it to sailing. It just won’t work, and every time you do that , you will be wrong and misleading other people .

Without that comprehensive understanding of Islam, nothing makes sense. Nothing . Without the knowledge of Islam everything is just a guess. Absolutely everything.

And here is the rub. Nothing will be righted till we have that comprehensive understanding of Islam. Till now we have been operating completely blind. Everything we have done is wrong , because we haven’t really understood what we have done. Even the refugee crisis needs to be re evaluated…

People around the world have been trying to either ban Islam or edit out the worst parts for hundreds of years , this isn’t a new thing; The ban. This is actually an issue that has plagued western society in some form or another for hundreds of years. With years of quiet and peace only achieved when we left each other totally alone.

I don’t know what the answer is. I know not all Muslims are devout or practice their religion or law. I am not a fan of the ban. But I do know that Islam and Muslims don’t hate us for anything other than what I told you, which is the Israel issues and the constant insult to their prophet and law by just being who we are.

In fact Isis issued a statement about exactly this. Because they keep seeing these articles about it and they wanted to set the story straight. Here is a quote from that statement

“Even if you were to stop bombing us, imprisoning us, torturing us, vilifying us, and usurping our lands, we would continue to hate you because our primary reason for hating you will not cease to exist until you embrace Islam.”

The six reasons Isis gave us are

1. Because you are disbelievers.

We hate you, first and foremost, because you are disbelievers; you reject the oneness of Allah — whether you realize it or not — by making partners for Him in worship, you blaspheme against Him, claiming that He has a son, you fabricate lies against His prophets and messengers, and you indulge in all manner of devilish practices.”

2. Because you are liberal

“We hate you because your secular, liberal societies permit the very things that Allah has prohibited while banning many of the things He has permitted, a matter that doesn’t concern you because you Christian disbelief and paganism 32 separate between religion and state, thereby granting supreme authority to your whims and desires via the legislators you vote into power.”

3. Because some of you are atheists.

“In the case of the atheist fringe, we hate you and wage war against you because you disbelieve in the existence of your Lord and Creator.”

4. Because of your crimes against Islam.

We hate you for your crimes against Islam and wage war against you to punish you for your transgressions against our religion.”

5. For your crimes against Muslims

We hate you for your crimes against the Muslims; your drones and fighter jets bomb, kill, and maim our people around the world, and your puppets in the usurped lands of the Muslims oppress, torture, and wage war against anyone who calls to the truth.”

6. For invading our lands.

“We hate you for invading our lands and fight you to repel you and drive you out. As long as there is an inch of territory left for us to reclaim, jihad will continue to be a personal obligation on every single Muslim.

What’s important to understand here is that although some might argue that your foreign policies are the extent of what drives our hatred, this particular reason for hating you is secondary, hence the reason we addressed it at the end of the above list.

The other thing to realize is that the only land they feel was taken from Muslims is Israel.
