How to increase the security of Instagram page and protect from being hacked?!

The first thing to increase the security of your Instagram page is to create the right password.

When creating a password, you should keep in mind that you should not use your date of birth, phone number, and familiar names.

Try to make the password more than eight characters and a combination of special characters such as (@ # * & /% $), uppercase and lowercase letters, and different numbers.

For example (A + 3 # x4d6H $ ^ F) could be a strong password.

When you use your mobile number in Instagram registration, be sure to register your email and confirm it. Because in this case, your page does not have its identity card.

If you have not done so, go to your account right now and follow these steps:

• Enter the Edit Profile section.
• Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the email box from the Admin contact info section.
• Enter and register the desired email.

After this, an email will be sent to you for confirmation from Instagram, which you must tap on Confirm.

If you used your email while registering for Instagram, you must then enter your mobile number to increase the page security.

To do this, we will do the same as the previous step:

• Enter the Edit Profile section.
• Select the mobile number box at the bottom of the page and enter the available number.

After this, a 6-digit code will be sent to the same mobile number.

By entering this code, your mobile number will be confirmed.

Two-step authentication is another way to increase the security of your Instagram page, which is enabled as follows:

• Go to your profile page and click the three-line icon at the top right of the page.
• Enter the Setting section at the bottom of the page.
• Select the Security option.
• Then click Tow-Factor Authentication.
• Click Get Start

After checking this option, two methods for authentication are shown:

• Text Message
• Authentication App

In this method, you need a mobile number and, you must enter a mobile number that you always have access to.

By entering the code number, you will receive a text message that you must enter.

After entering the code, support codes will be displayed for you, from which you must take a screen to use these codes to log in to your account when you do not have access to your mobile number.

Select this option if you want to log in to your account with code generated by other programs.

On this page, first, click on Install App to open the application link for you, then click on Set up Manual.

Now a code will be shown and, you can copy and enter the program you want, then enter the verification code generated by that application on Instagram.
