AltspaceVR now supports Daydream by Google

We’re excited to announce that AltspaceVR officially supports Daydream by Google! This is an exciting addition to our list of supported platforms, which includes Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and Samsung Gear VR (as well as PC and Mac in “2D Mode”).

In addition to Daydream compatibility, our new app on the Google Play store provides access for compatible Android phones even without a virtual reality headset with our new “Mobile View” feature. This allows users to enter AltspaceVR without Daydream or any VR headset, using just the screen on their phone.

Daydream View: Google Pixel, Google Pixel XL, Huawei Mate 9 Pro, Porsche Design Mate 9, Moto Z, Asus ZenFone AR, ZTE, and several other manufacturers have announced plans to produce Daydream-ready phones.

Gear VR: Samsung Galaxy Note 5, S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, S7 and S7 Edge.
