Community Corner with Lisa K

Each week, AltspaceVR Community Manager, Lisa K, invites community members of all ages and avatars to join her as she discusses VR’s latest happenings, current events, and the incredible work being done by community members themselves. Like any community gathering, the event often begins before it starts — people arrive early to catch up, share news, and goof around with new and old friends.

Designed both as an introduction for new users and a weekly stand-up for experienced VR members, Community Corner is a place for people to gather, learn about what’s going on in AltspaceVR, ask questions, offer feedback, and have their voices heard. It’s also a place for people to meet each other, discover hidden talents of the avatar next to them, and offer advice on issues both within and outside of virtual reality. Lisa commonly showcases the amazing things that community members are coding into reality with the AltspaceVR SDK tools — which have included a rainbow karaoke room by Fae and a playable VR piano by Kai — so these meetups often involve often tours and demos.
