The Rebirth of the City-State

Good article, this is a thought that I have been noodling on since about 2009 and there has been a spate of articles recently looking at this in North America. While technology unbundling of physical locality to work is important, geography plays a huge role because in the end we all need goods to live. It is interesting to see that technology is adding to urbanization not population dispersal like many back in the day of the “old fuckers” thought it might.
