God Will Never Leave You

“And Yeshua came up to them and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, immersing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Ruach ha-Kodesh , teaching them to observe all I have commanded you. And remember! I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” — Matthew 28:18-20 TLV
“God left me. Why would He take me back? I am such a disappointment.” These were my thoughts and nightmares. I grew up in the church and knew what it was to follow Jesus. I then left to pursue a life of pleasure and do the things I want to do. Years went by and God’s light broke through my walls. One of the ways was this verse.
“And remember! I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” — Matthew 28:20 TLV
This verse was my confirmation verse. At age 12, I went through a catechism class called Confirmation. In the Lutheran church, it was required to take in order to take communion and one day become a member. In essence, I was taking ownership of my faith. At the end, we were all given a verse. My Dad was the Pastor so he was the one that gave it to me.
As I was being broken down, God reminded me of this truth. That He never left me. That He wasn’t disappointed in me. And it made all the more knowing it was my earthly father that gave it to me.
Jesus will never stop pursuing or loving you! Embrace His love and know you belong with your Creator.
Be blessed and know that you are loved by YeHoVaH through Messiah Yeshua and the Ruach ha-Kodesh lives within you.
