‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ is a dystopian novel that feels way too relevant right now
Nina Renata Aron

This is very interesting and to my own shame I have to admit I never heard of this novel before. I am going to buy it and then my husband will to and we’ll discuss it together (our family book club, how quaint!).

This sentence at the end of the article got my attention: “Those with power work to sustain the system, largely by sowing doubt, envy, and ill will among the others” as this is something that I see happening in the workplace in France (where I am from) where women are usually the toughest bosses, even more when they have children.

Thanks again for making my day brighter with this knowledge.
