I am a dedicated Amazon and Trip Advisor customer and I write my share of reviews. I also count on reviews when making my purchases or reservations. I find Amazon’s customer service stellar and they have never disappointed me when I had an issue.
I recently had a bad experience with customer service regarding purchasing an extended warranty on my computer. My problem was not resolved after several back and forth emails (I like things in writing). I returned the product and never received any acknowledgement or any type of contact regarding my issue. I disputed the charge on my credit card and the bank reversed the charge.
I used to be a customer service rep many moons ago and we were required to take several company organized courses before we were allowed to take phone calls. Also, the company furnished mirrors for the reps and told us to look in the mirror and smile when speaking with a client.
That smile will shine through in your voice.
