How Do We Respond to Hurricane Harvey?

How do we help in Houston? I know we all want to pray with our hearts, hands, and feet. But, please resist the urge to collect supplies to send. Anyone who has worked in recovery after a disaster will tell you coordination and storage of donated supplies is overwhelming and distracting. The best thing we can do is send money. Every donation counts. Start an online donation challenge instead of putting a donation box in your office, school, faith community, etc. And here are some organizations on the ground to donate to outside of the traditional recovery response. I will be updating this regularly. Please add suggestions in the comments.
