It may truly be an unfortunate thing that men cannot experience the feelings of having a daughter before they experience the feelings of puberty, teenagehood, and social pressure. It’s a very sad after-the-fact scenario, but maybe it can make women stronger, wiser, and more perceptive when it is time to actually pick a long-term mate. Indeed, we all have to make the mistake before we can learn from it.
