Yea, you guessed it right.
We are talking about the Gurudvara committee elections.
It is really surprising to see that elections that are used to select the deserving committee for the “Seva of Gurudvaras” turns into an arena where one party is throwing dirt on other parties and vice-versa.
Completely distracted from the “Original Purpose” that is “Seva” !!!
This is how it looks like…..
“ Lose-Lose Situation ”
Even if one party wins by putting the other party down. As a community we will still be losing. As all the stuff that goes around these elections does only one thing and that is “it makes the divide in the community even bigger”.
“The Guru’s System”
Lets go back to the “Guru’s system”, which is selective and not elective. Giving seva to the one who is the most deserving in terms of “Jeevan, Rehat, Seva Bhav, Ability” etc and not the one who gets the most no. of votes.
