I’ve written near 3 million words in the past 2 years. It never gets old, stale, depressing, or otherwise as described above. I do NOT read all that much, only as necessity calls. Reading is not needed to write. Andrew Wyeth said that he did not teach his children to paint. They can learn that by themselves. He said rather, he taught them to OBSERVE. Painting, like READING is not a qualifier for being an ARTIST, WRITER. Comprehensive observation is, even if blind.

One who reads “a lot” is not writing. The time has already expired or the writing has taken the space of other activities, like family.

Heeding Wyeth’s words, I taught my brain to ‘observe’. What needs to be written flashes in my brain, in its entirety in less than a second. All I need to do is write in down (digitally). It just flows (taking longer than a second).

Because I OBSERVE rather than WRITE I can declare EXACTLY what the FOUR POINTS mentioned above are REALLY saying and I know the INTENDED TARGET AUDIENCE.

If you truly want to write, OBSERVE.

Be HaPpY and WRITE ON!
