This is a personal journey that I embarked on to further enhance my skills and creativity.

In April, I successfully completed a comprehensive UI/UX design course at NerdyEye Academy, equipping myself with the essential skills and knowledge to create engaging and user-friendly digital experiences. After completing the design course, I embarked on a personal journey to further enhance my skills and creativity by starting a 30-day UI design challenge.

The 30 Days UI Design Challenge began with careful planning and goal-setting. I outlined specific objectives I wanted to achieve during the challenge such as;

  1. Improve My UI/Visual Design Skill.
  2. To Challenge Myself.
  3. To get noticed.

Now let me break this down, bit by bits. from how i improved my skills, to challenging myself and to making sure i get noticed. lets begin:

Improve My UI/Visual Design Skill.
This challenge helped me grow my user interface and design skill as i designed for web, mobile web and mobile applications. I also got to understand animation/prototyping. (Now i can’t design with adding animations for users to access.)

To Challenge Myself.
This challenge was a great way to push push myself/boundaries as a designer, it helped my thinking process, ideation and animation.

To get noticed.
Throughout the challenge, I actively sought feedback and critiques from fellow designers, mentors, and the design community. This allowed me to gather diverse perspectives and refine my designs based on constructive input. Engaging in discussions and receiving feedback not only improved my design skills but also fostered valuable connections within the design community.

Please Note: This is going to be a long read, but i promise you won’t get bored while reading. But if you don’t really like to read long threads/stories, just scroll down till you see the interaction design section /animations👍🏼.

“All I wanted was a job like a book so good that i will be finishing it for the rest of my life.”

UI/UX design is that job for me, and I’m proud to say that while this challenge (and all my other projects) will never be fully finished, I breathed as much life into it as much as I could — I hope you enjoyed it! Thanks for reading.
