As we have revealed in the E4C Whitepaper, there will be one sole token in the game and the peripheral gaming ecosystem, which is the $E4C token. Therefore the staking utility of Thorn will be transformed from $DGC to $E4C token with an exchange rate of 1 $DGC=0.4 $E4C.

The freemint of Bumble Fighter Thorn is approaching! As new blood is flooding into our community, we get frequently asked about what the freemint will be like and what utility Rangers NFT holders will get. We will go through these questions one by one in this article, let’s dive in and learn more!

Q1: What is Bumble Fighter Thorn?

Bumble Fighter Thorn is the 3rd champion launched by Ambrus Studio. It is a brand-new collection called E4C Rangers — Hive, which is the same as the E4C Rangers, playable in our games with attractive in-game utilities. They are also the leading characters in E4C’s worldview setting(learn more about E4Cverse).

Before our official game launch in the year 2023, Ambrus Studio will publish seven champions one by one, the pricing and total amount of which may vary. The NFT can be used as a PFP, while at the same time it will provide holders with corresponding in-game benefits at the launch of the E4C games, including E4C: Fallen Arena and E4C: Final Salvation.

Before Thorn’s wave, we dropped 2 out of 7 Rangers, both of which have sold out and performed well in the floor price. You can find collections of Heir of Musashi Rin, and Uncaged Reaper Kit at OpenSea and Rarible.

Q2: Why freemint?

As mentioned above, the first 2 waves of E4C Rangers have performed beyond our expectations. We could not have achieve this without the strong support of our community. Therefore we would like to express our gratitude by providing this freemint wave.

Q3: What is the difference of this freemint wave?

The total supply of the freemint wave is 9,999 which is larger than the previous waves, as we would like as many of our community members to access this NFT.
There will be only one edition and no utility segmentation.
The utility of holders will vary from the previous waves, which will be explained in the following sections.
The freemint NFT is only applicable to users with an allowlist(E4Cverse Permit or Whitelist), which will be also explained in the following sections.

Q4: What is the utility?

Thorn’s holders will be granted with:

In-game airdrops of the corresponding champion.
In-game airdrops of the exclusive skins.
The staking option to get future $DGC* tokens.

Please note that Thorn is not applicable for the NFT upgrading option.

*Note: $DGC is the utility token of E4C. Please refer to the Tokenomics paper to know more about it.

Q5: What is the NFT staking option?

The staking option is part of the holding utility of Thorn’s holders. By staking the NFT, holders can unlock token yields.

How to start staking: After getting the NFT, holders can stake it on E4C’s website to accumulate $DGC tokens as staking yield. The amount of the $DGC token is positively correlated to the staking duration.
How to earn: Holders can only earn when the accumulated $DGC tokens are more than 1 and they claim the Diamond Hand SBT badge in the same wallet.
The staking duration: The staking duration will be calculated based on the unit of 24 hours/1 natural day. The upper limit of the duration is 160 days/160x24 hours. Holders cannot earn any token if the staking period is less than 24 hours.
When to claim the tokens: Before the token generation event(TGE) for the $DGC token, staking NFT holders are considered to acquiescently agree to receive the future tokens and can claim their tokens at TGE only. Details of which will be revealed when announcing the TGE of the $DGC token.
What is the restriction: The $DGC yield is subject to a 3-month cliff period before it can be withdrawn.
What if the holders unstake the NFT: The $DGC tokens earned will still exist. But if the holder stake again, the accumulation speed(unit rewards for the staking duration) of the $DGC yield will be remeasured.

Q6: How to get the allowlist for this freemint?

The freemint applies to users with allowlist only. We grant two groups of users with different privileges: E4Cverse Permit and Whitelist.

To get any of these, users are supposed to:

(1) Get your wallet address ready (DTC wallet please skip this step)

Join our Discord.
Get an “Event Whitelist”, “Collab Whitelist” or “Permit” role in our Discord. Details can be found in related Discord channels.
Submit your address at Ambrus Studio’s Premint links(please make sure you submit with the right role!)

(2) Use the whitelisted wallet to register an IMX wallet (If you already have one, skip this step)

Sign in with your wallet on E4C’s official website or IMX marketplace.
Follow the instruction to create an IMX wallet (please note that this process will require a signature).

The freemint will start 10 a.m. SGT on Jan. 9th, 2023!
