The Walk

I knew you’d be right behind me.

The moment I turned my head around to check on you,

I regretted it.

So we just kept on walking.

I was nervous.

But I kept it cool.

There’s only two things in my mind.

How do I look from behind?

What are you thinking?

But I’ll never know the answer .

you’re either not looking at me

you walked away when I don’t even know it.
