As chief executive officer and director of Lakha Investments, Amin Andy Lakha oversees a Bellevue, Washington, real estate firm that has acquired and developed more than 10 million square feet of retail and residential space. When he isn’t working, Amin Andy Lakha enjoys watching sports, traveling, and trying out new restaurants. His favorite restaurants in the United States include Alinea in Chicago.

Opened by Chef Grant Achatz and Nick Kokonas in 2005, Alinea is a world-class restaurant well known in the gastronomic community for its unique take on modernist cooking. Alinea features a reinvented menu that offers distinct dining experiences. Catering to parties of two to six, the restaurant’s menu combines a number of fine dining courses with experimental moments.

Since opening, Alinea has been recognized with a number of accolades, including a Michelin 3-star rating and a James Beard Award for Best Service in the United States. Alinea is also consistently ranked in San Pellegrino’s list of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
