The article is cleverly worded but more or less propagates the same left-wing agenda, putting the onus of maintaining peace on people who feel threatened and shortchanged by not just extremist groups, but also by their intellectuals, writers, journalists and politicians.

The right solution would be to recognise that yes there is a problem and we need to solve it. Reaction or overreaction is bound to be there whether it benefits Islamists or not because this is how humans react. The reactions also originate from the frustration of blaming the victims rather than calling a spade a spade.
