We do not do nothing. The problem is the way democracies are structured. They are structured to make change very slow.

Nigerians are doing the best they possibly can be doing. We have to choose our battles. Pushing Jonathan from Power was a remarkable feat for Nigeria and Nigerians in my opinion.

People are not financially free enough to actually stage protests each time something ridiculous happens. There’s also the massive uneducated mass who prevent change from happening on a large enough scale.

There’s hope for Nigeria but it’s not going to change as fast as we want it to. Our democracy isn’t even 20 years old. Give it another 40 years.
