Many in the millennial generation don’t have a point of reference for the things that are currently coming from politics. Harry Potter references supply context. I understand that you're critiquing professional political writers & not the average millennial tweeter but shouldn’t those writers be trying to connect with this age group? Any comparison to a fictional universe is bound to be problematic, but if the comparison provides a relatable context to millions, couldn’t it be worth it?
