My Time in Boston
This past Sunday was our first and last day of complete freedom at the Boston University Summer Challenge Program. My roommate and I decided to wake up “late,” (10am is not late enough for me) and get free breakfast at the Marciano Commons dining hall.
After refilling our bottles and sneaking out a few contraband bananas, we took the outbound T up to Park Street and found our way to New England Aquarium. My roommate — we’d been friends for almost ten years — was against any and all forms of spending money, so she opted out of the Great White Shark IMAX movie. I’ve always loved sharks, so I saved her $9 by telling her all about the whole thing anyway.
We ate and, waiting for our Duck Boat tour to start, realized the man had given us incorrectly timed tickets. This had a happy result though, we ended up getting full refunds and first row seats to the next tour. We rode around the city, making notes of where all the T stations were located, and observed Boston from the Charles River. Living thirty minutes from the City that Never Sleeps (NYC), I have to say Boston was a whole new experience that I can’t wait to see again.
