What I learnt from Taleb?

Nicholas Taleb is one of the finest original thinkers of modern era. I have learnt so much from his books — Fooled by Randomness, Black Swan, Anti Fragile. In this article, I am trying to capture what I learnt from him.

  1. Time is the best judge of quality and importance — Reading weekly digest is better than reading daily digest which in itself is better than reading updates every minute on twitter!
  2. Predicting is hard and/or next to impossible — It is impossible to predict accurately, especially when markets are going to increase or fall.
