Cartouche of the Last Pharaoh of Egypt Found at Illegal Dig Under Home in Abydos

Authorities have come across an illegal dig in Abydos, Egypt, beneath someone’s home and discovered a cartouche of the last native pharaoh of the 30th dynasty in the 4th century BC. A cartouche is a carved stone relief giving the name and epithets of Egyptian pharaohs. Authorities confiscated the home and will continue excavating. They hope this is just the first of many discoveries linked the last Pharaoh of Egypt.
