Skeleton 3,000 years old lends credence to claims of Ancient Greeks sacrificing humans

A strange myth that an ancient Greek king sacrificed a child on Mount Lykaion may be somewhat confirmed with the find of an adolescent boy’s remains on an ash heap where thousands of animals were sacrificed to Zeus. These are the only human remains found in the 100-foot-diameter ash heap, but just 7 percent of the mound has been excavated.
