An important article that deserves to be widely read — although it probably won’t be, because it doesn’t confirm any of the over-simplistic political narratives that are popular at the moment.

I thought the election to ultimate power of someone like Trump would shake those contrarian Hillary-obsessed ‘leftists’ (Greenwald and that whole circle) from their usual routine. But it doesn’t appear to have done so. If anything, they seem more determined than ever to rationalise their pre-election approach of going easy on Trump while hammering the “Dems” at every opportunity. And now we see Assange and his followers defending Michael Flynn! Good grief.
