I think looking at documentaries can be interesting as we consider digital storytelling. It is especially intriguing to think about story making vs. story telling. Your ideals are right, however I feel that when I watch a documentary, I truly believe the producer or film maker is absolutely telling a story from a very specific angle, in some way, making the story through editing and probing. The film you share does seem very interesting, allowing us to go somewhere most of us have never been, nor can we relate.
