“Ship lousy stuff, but ship” for what benefit does this mentality and action exist?

Ship things you are unsure of? yes

Ship things that have a risk of failing? yes

Ship things that people might disagree with? yes

Ship things even though it’s scary? yes

Ship lousy stuff? No, whatever you do, no.

If you know it’s lousy you probably also know how to do better. Not bothering to make it better, THAT is a “lazy-ass” mentality.
