How to build a startup with your friends !
Hello, my name is Andrei Canache and I am the CEO of Yuburn (https://yuburn.com). I love to make all kinds of things, for example for my bachelors thesis, I made a cloud computing architecture (using IBM Bluemix) for a simpler way to manage data fluxes from an Arduino Board. Basically what I did was to hook up 4 sensors to an Arduino (I used Arduino Uno R3 https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/ArduinoBoardUno) temperature, humidity, CO2 Level, and a light sensor; and then put an Ethernet shield over it, I used this system to get data from an MUSHROOM culture, so that the farmer can get insights about all the critical levels that the mushroom culture has to respect, and help him adjust them accordingly. Nice huh?
Me and Baisan Marius started Yuburn (“our base company”) in June 2015 after we graduated; I know Marius from University, and we became friends since the first days; we met on a sunny day and went to Starbucks Coffee where he proposed we should start a startup. He already had something going on but he wanted a name for it and someone to manage what goes on business wise, so there at coffee we came up with the name GROBYK that stands for GRowing BY Knowing. Well all great and fine, but we needed to make Grobyk a mobile app too… So here comes in Dragos Niculescu, Marius knows Dragos since Highschool and they are best friends, he also graduated the same University that Marius and I did. Dragos is our Head of Development guy, Marius is the CTO; Dragos also is working hard at Grobyk iOS App that is keen to launch soon, we are all really excited about this.
