Leading the defense for the Eagles, Walter Thurmond III has amassed three interceptions, tied for second most in the league, and 34 combined tackles.
Thurmond previously played with the New York Giants and the Seattle Seahawks, the franchise that drafted him out of the University of Oregon in 2010. He signed a one-year deal with the Eagles to play under Head Coach Chip Kelly, who previously coached him at Oregon.
