Here’s how YOU can create amazing YouTube Thumbnails for FREE with Adobe Express, which brings some powerful photoshop tools to you for Free! Things such as removing a subject from it’s background, image animations, and templates.

This Adobe Express Tutorial shows off the features:

When it comes to YouTube, thumbnails, are SUPER important and one of the most common tools is Photoshop. But with Adobe Express, they’re hoping to give you a new redesigned free option when it comes to YouTube thumbnails. [Adobe Express was previously Adobe Spark] With Adobe Express, you can design your thumbnails on both your Computer & Smartphone, and if you’d like to try this for free I’ll have an affiliate link:

Once you sign or download the app via the app store, you will be brought to the homepage. The best part about Adobe Express is that there is NO watermark on the free version, and if you’re not a designer they have so many templates as I mentioned earlier for different creative projects you might want to try and create.

This article is focusing on YouTube thumbnails. You can start creating a new YouTube thumbnail by scrolling through the creative options or by searching for YouTube Thumbnails in the search box.

It is important to note that while it is amazing that Adobe is giving a big selection of options for FREE, they do have a PAID version for $9.99 USD a month or $99.99 USD a year, that has even more options for creativity.

If you would like to see how I designed the thumbnail featured in the article watch the above mentioned video:

Now, If you know the design industry this is VERY similar to CANVA’s free and paid offerings. Even down to the crown to show premium… being a similar icon… Since CANVA uses language like “Easier than photoshop.” In some of their ads I see why Adobe would want to offer their own browser based designer too.

However you feel about Adobe Express, one thing is TRUE. The competition between Adobe and Canva offers more FREE options for us as creators, and in the end WE the creators win.
