TEKsystems is partnering with a large enterprise client here in the northern suburbs for an Agile PM for a contract opening.
Rate will vary based on experience. Candidates must be local to the Chicagoland area. Must work W2 NO C2C.

My client is looking for an experienced Project Manager/Scrum Master in the field of software development.
This person will the lead the efforts of implementing a series of improvements which will assist in detecting and preventing fraudulent applications and transactions on Discover bank accounts.
We will be standing up a new agile team to work on these initiatives, but the team is new to agile.
An experienced Scrum Master is desired to facilitate the following:
Partner with Product Owners to create user stories and perform story mapping
Facilitate user story sizing and estimation workshops
Facilitate Release and sprint planning
Facilitation of daily standups, sprint review and demos
Strong communication, leadership and relationship building
Model, promote and encourage Agile values, best practices, processes and behaviors
Protect the team from outside interruptions
Help remove barriers for the team
Continually learn and share process improvements with colleagues and the team
Leadership Responsibilities:
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience, may direct the work of other staff members.
Task Complexity:
Works on critical issues and the most complex projects.
Expert knowledge of the field. Assignments are quite varied and complex projects with few standard procedures.
Decision Making:
Complete latitude for independent judgment.
Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems.
May refer to established precedents and policies.
Amount of Supervision:
Works independently, receives minimal guidance.
Participates in determining objectives of assignment. Plans, schedules, and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.
Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
- Mandatory Skills: 3 years Scrum Master experience in a large organization
- 5+ years software development project management experience
- Able to write effective User Stories
- Agile mentoring
- Agile coaching
- Excellent communication
- Desired Skills: Scrum Master Certification
- Experience with developing Agile teams
- Experience using Rally
- Scaled Agile Framework
- Has been through an Agile transformation
