Have You Used MOL Yet? The Quirky New Messaging Service
A bunch of my friends have been posting slideshows and videos made on a weird new messaging service — it’s not really like anything I’ve ever seen before.
It’s called Minute of Life.
Now, when I first saw it I didn’t really get the point, to be honest. It’s a site where you can send video messages or slideshow messages — nothing special here, right?
Wrong.
There’s one major difference that I thought was pretty sweet.
Instead of sending instant messages, you choose the delivery time. Simple, but not like anything I’ve ever seen.

It’s almost like the message is there, but you put it inside a little gift box thing. Each minute, each time slot, belongs to only one message. So it’s almost like the video I made was more valuable because of it — it’s new, so it’s kind of cool, and I like the way the site looks more than other video sharing services.
Now, using the site itself is a breeze. Seriously, when I did it it was like four steps to make the video. It should be simple, because it’s a simple idea, but I was pretty happy about how easy the editor was to use.
Once you create your message, all you need to do is pick the time slot that you want for your message. Me and my friends all try to get the last minute before the school day ends before anyone else and then send each other messages like that.
So, I don’t know how long it’s going to last, because once you put a video in one time slot, that’s it. If you want to get the right time on your video, you might need to do it now.
