Emily, thank you for coming forth and talking about these issues, which I know affect many in the humanitarian sector. You, and other colleagues, may be interested in programs like the Contemplative-Based Resilience Project for Humanitarian Aidworkers (http://www.changingaidwork.org/) which is currently training aidworkers in Jordan and elsewhere in the tools of integrated self-care. It’s rooted in the tools of contemplative practice, scientific rigor and a practical understanding of the issues aidworkers face.

Even if that’s not of interest — thank you (and MSF) for bringing an issue forward which is all-too-often taboo in humanitarian circles.
