Everything we see and experience is based off of our sensory and cognitive abilities. This information is relayed through different producers, such ass mainstream media, consumer culture, and trending topics through social media to name a few…There is a lot that we are seeing that influences our thoughts and actions whether we know it or not. We should be made aware of this and have it is our responsibility to make sense of the world around us and connect the dots so to speak.

How do we find our direction?

My opinion: It is good to exercise your right to free speech, and to seriously use it while not conforming to a hive mind mentality, to speak your mind even if your voice shakes. It is also important to know what you are talking about and reach to reach a point in conversation to catalyze critical thought and personal/communal growth.

My concerns: People are not living and seeing the world for how it actually is but rather seeing the world for how it is “laid” out for them.

My plan: I am going to culminate a lot of sources that beg the questions of what does it mean to live a positive life, a life free from embedded ideas, a life that accommodate your needs and interests and ability to pursue said interests, a life that inspires freedom and human compassion, a life that will make you a more holistic member of society by deconstructing irrational modes of thought.
